IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced today that it has appointed Phiroz Vandrevala as the Managing Director and Vice President of its UK subsidiary, diligence.
Vandrevala, executive director of the company, will assume the post of managing director (MD) and Vice Chairman (VC) of care with immediate effect, TCS said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In accordance with this movement, Vandrevala no longer the CEO of TCS.
However, the Board of Directors has appointed Vandrevala as an additional Director of ECT in the ability of non-independent and non-executive directors with immediate effect, he added.
Diligent was established in 2005 to specialize in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) for UK life and pensions industry.
Diligent entered the UK life and pensions market in 2006 by securing an agreement 486,000. 000 pounds with the Phoenix Group (formerly known as the Pearl Group), making it the largest company in the UK to cater for this sector.
